Come and join us on this inspiring photography walk experience, with professional photographer Paula Duck. We will be taking in the Minster and Bar walls, The Shambles, Museum Gardens and Lendal Bridge
We start at the Minster with a 360 walk around, then a walk down to the bar walls at Bootham and up on to the walls giving wonderful views of the city. We come back down to Monkbar and walk along down to the Shambles taking in a little local history and photographing along the way. We head down to Fossgate and through to The Merchant Adventurers Hall and the beautiful Gardens . Continuing back to Parliament street and stop and stroll through The Shambles Market along onto Swinegate, then to Stonegate. We then walk to The Museum Gardens this will take in St.Mary’s Abbey, the remains of the Roman walls and The Hospitium, and then we will walk back across Lendal Bridge.
Whether you want to just learn the basics, or improve your photography skills the walk will have top tips for all abilities. Bring any camera whether it is a DSLR, Point and shoot, mobile or tablet camera. We will explore how to improve your composition in photography, what is the rule of thirds? Learn how to see creatively, and encouraging you to see the world with an artistic eye. All this whilst taking in some beautiful sights and exploring the city. BOOK HERE

York Photo Walks takes place every Wednesday at 1.00pm. Then every Friday at 10.00am outside York Art Gallery.
