About
Held in the heart of York, on Parliament Street, The Yorkshire Halloween Festival will take place between 24th October - 1st November.
Hosted by Made in Yorkshire, The Yorkshire Halloween Festival is a celebration of creativity and interactivity suitable for all the family!
As well as our well know large group of local artisans you will also find at the festival, a unique series of local makers who will be running workshops to entertain and encourage you to make and create - all with a Halloween/Autumnal theme.
We will also, for the first time, provide an attractive Tipi (Jorvik Tipis) in which we aim to create an inclusive sensory environment to host a series of accessible and creative events ( free, paid and open) and offer a Halloween inspired sensory haven in the centre of York. This will host a variety of children's activities as well as specialist sessions for adults.
We will schedule a range of activities including:
Tactile pumpkin decorating
Create your own leaf for the central tree
Ginger bread biscuit decorating
Air drying clay ghosts
Stone painting
