The Details

Duration 2 hours 30 minutes

Your experience begins with a warm welcome, followed by a Hooting Owl Signature gin.

You’ll tour our distillery, learn about the distillation process and what makes Hooting Owl so special.

Our Master Distiller, storyteller and founder of Hooting Owl, Dom, will take you on a fun-filled gin adventure, known as the ‘Tour de Yorkshire’. You’ll discover the journey taken many years ago by Sir Owlfred Tyton Hodgins (The infamous Hooting Owl) when he created his discerning recipes. There’ll be insights into the origins of the brand with a few eyebrow-raising stories thrown in for good measure. Throughout your adventure there will be at least four stop-offs where, after gaining an understanding of how the botanicals influence each gin, your glasses will be charged with another of Sir Owlfred’s artisan Yorkshire gins.

No worries if gin isn’t your tipple of choice, we’ve got you covered, as we also distil a selection of vodkas and rums which you can sample instead.

In summary, there will be laughter, storytelling, adventures, award-winning gins, pizza and sharing platters, all under the roof of The Hooting Owl Distillery.

You will finish with a drink of your choice from our range of 25 artisan spirits.

Once your adventure is complete you’re welcome to stay with us and soak up the atmosphere. Our bar is open from 12pm to 11pm 7 days a week.
