Get your gloves on and grab some cans! We’re painting up some spooky scenery in this extended edition of our much-loved spray paint and stencil workshops, hosted by Art of Protest Projects at SPARK*.

In this new extended edition workshop, we will be taking you on a spray paint journey like never before.

Our lesson will start with creating an A5 abstract piece of art. This will get you familiar with the spray paint and get those creative juices flowing in preparation to make your Halloween themed masterpiece.

We will then move on to a one hour class, led by professional instructors, who will walk you through the steps to create a stellar design, starting with a background sky and some fine October mist, followed by some foreground elements of your choosing, such as a pumpkin or ghost. This workshop will introduce a new three-layered stencil technique, allowing you to create some truly jaw-dropping imagery on your canvas and really give depth to the elements you choose. We’ll guide you through every step of the process, and complete the final design by adding any finishing touches and really bringing your creation to life. Everything will be Halloween themed to get you in the spirit!

This workshop is designed for intermediate levels and is best suited for adults or for children who have taken our spray paint workshops before, however, experience is not essential and our instructors will adapt the class to suit beginner levels as needed.

The Boring Bits…

🕸 Full PPE will be provided including gloves, gown, mask and goggles, as well as a safety brief.

🧡 Parents are welcome to accompany their kids without purchasing a ticket (they will not have their own canvas set up to paint) but are also encouraged to purchase a ticket and participate in the workshop alongside their child!

🕷️ All participants must be aged 7 or older to sign up for this workshop. Although younger children are often good at following instructions, this is a strict policy due to the fact that small fingers typically struggle when operating spray cans, compromising user safety.
