Join in the Easter adventures at the National Trust garden just north of York. Running 5 April -21 April, 10am - 5pm, pick up your trail map, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg* at the end. Trails cost £3.50 per participant (plus normal admissions charges).
Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family. There are 10 fun trail points to discover as you make your way around the garden. Race against the egg timer, test your throwing skills at the bean bag toss, feel different textures in the sensory boxes and peep through a magnifying glass as spring buds unfurl.
Afterwards, head to the popular wilderness play area and if the weather is kind, there's plenty of room to picnic and play games on the lawns. Otherwise head inside to the hall or drop by the restaurant or brew house to refuel as you adventure.
Normal admissions charges apply - free entry to National Trust and RHS members and under fives..
*Both eggs are made using Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa.
