Shepherd Brass Band joins forces with the internationally acclaimed Cory Band for what promises to be a truly unforgettable performance. Ranked the number one brass band in the world for 13 consecutive years, Cory Band has secured every major brass band title at home and abroad. Renowned for its innovative approach, the Band has pioneered the use of choreography and immersive audio-visual effects, captivating audiences wherever they perform.

This special concert comprises a tantalising mix of popular, classical and traditional brass band music, including original compositions and arrangements by Cory Band’s esteemed Musical Director, Philip Harper, and features performances not only from the Cory Band but also the Shepherd Brass Band, one of the leading ensembles in the North of England. Held on the eve of the prestigious Brass in Concert Championship in Gateshead, where the Cory Band will once again compete to defend its title, audience members will experience Cory Band performing their Brass-in-Concert programme the day before the contest.
