Bugthorpe Grange Glamping is a new glamping site created in 2022. Bugthorpe Grange is located on the picturesque Garrowby Estate, the largest of the Earl of Halifax's Estates on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. The site is surrounded by rolling agricultural land and woodland with numerous walks and cycling routes, including a link via the Chalkland way on to the national trail The Yorkshire Wolds Way. There are numerous attractions within easy reach such as the stately homes of Sledmere and Castle Howard, the coastal towns (and beaches) of Bridlington and Filey, the thriving market towns of Malton, Pocklington and Beverley, and the City of York which is easily accessed via a 20 minute drive to the Park & Ride system at Grimston Bar

The site comprises 4 large luxury glamping pods providing spacious accommodation for a comfortable and relaxing stay in the Yorkshire countryside. Each pod comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests with two double beds and one single bunk. The pods are fully insulated with underfloor heating making them perfect for year-round glamping. The pods are extremely well equipped with an ensuite shower room, kitchenette, smart TV, towels and bedding. Outside each pod is a decked seating area surrounded by a glass balustrade and in addition there is a further 'rustic' seating area with a brazier. Gas BBQs are available to hire. A hamper containing breakfast essentials etc is provided and all the items in the hamper are produced in Yorkshire with the majority being locally sourced on the Yorkshire Wolds.
