Cardboard Snooks Project

Discover the Cardboard Snooks Project, a unique initiative made possible through the generous support of Aviva. This project has provided 100 three-foot cardboard Snooks to local schools, offering a fun and engaging opportunity for young people to connect with the city's heritage and contribute to the Snooks Trail in their own creative way.

As part of this initiative, schools received these cardboard Snooks in time for World Book Day, allowing students to express their creativity by decorating and personalizing their Snooks with vibrant colours and designs.

These decorated Snooks are now displayed in various shop windows and libraries across York, adding an extra layer of charm to the city and extending the Snooks Trail experience. This effort not only showcases the creativity of York's younger residents but also supports our Charity Partner, St Leonard's Hospice.
