Regular film screenings for families at a reduced price.

Located in the heart of York and easily accessible by public transport, City Screen Cinema holds regular family screenings on designated days! We offer the following weekly child-friendly sessions:

Watch With Baby – Fridays 11am. For parents/guardians with babies under one year old. Regular ticket prices apply but babies go free.

Toddler Time – Fridays, & Sundays 11.30am. 30 minutes of episodes for preschoolers and their carers. Tickets £3.30 for children, free for accompanying adults.

Kids’ Club – Saturdays 11am. Tickets £3.30 each.

We also have regular autism-friendly screenings (3rd Sunday of the month), where we strive to create an environment welcoming for people with a range of conditions such as autism, learning disabilities and cognitive disorders.

The cinema is fully accessible for people with disabilities, there is a baby-change facility in certain toilets (ask for a key), and the Riverside Café-Bar is welcoming to parents and carers with children.
