York Mansion House is a stunning 18th Century house situated in the centre of historic York. Built in 1725, it was the oldest purpose-built home for a Lord Mayor in the country, acting as the civic and social heart of the north for almost 300 years. In its rich and lavish history, the Mansion House has played host to royalty, been home to some of York's most infamous figures, and thrown raucous, decadent parties.

Across four floors, the Mansion House is a celebration of Georgian York. From the historic kitchens below stairs, to the grandeur of the State Room up the sweeping staircase and the galleries on the top floor, displaying one of the largest collections of civic silver in the country, this is an entirely unique space for every type of occasion and event.
