York Guided Historic Pub Walks

Discover an alternative history of York by taking this unique guided walk through the city centre. York has a reputation for having a pub for everyday of the year. Find out about some of the oldest as well as the people and events associated with them. Inquests, riots, politics, plagues, religious influence, bizarre entertainments and strange auctions, York's pub history provides a strong picture of the social life of the city.

All funds raised go towards supporting a local York charity scheme. For further information use the following link . A donation of £6.00pp cash on arrival is requested. Groups of 4 or more are offered a discount for a donation at £5.00pp

The guide is an experienced volunteer city guide.

Keith Martin will share his passion for York's oldest pubs in return for a donation to Keep Your Pet a charity which helps people keep their animals at difficult times"

All money raised from the walks will support Keep Your Pet, a charity run by Age Uk York. This project has been established to help older people look after their pets at times of health or other difficulties.
