Throughout the final week of October to the long night of All Hallows Eve and the celebration of The Day of the Dead – The Polite Tourist will take to the old, unquiet streets in a quest to awaken the most notorious of the dead who once lay claim to the City of YORK.

And as the veil between the living and the dead grows ever thin - The Polite Tourist will be peeling back the shadows which haunt the darkest recesses of an ancient city's history.

For those of a curious and hardy temper – why not immerse yourself in a long forgotten world for an evening with The Polite Tourist as your walking companion?

And as they gently guide you through the dark and crooked labyrinths to a yesteryear of death and despair, crime, disorder, murder and mayhem – the tales of the illustrious, the miscreants, artists, misfits and those ordinary folk will be revealed.

And ALL lost to history – until now!

However, for those of a sensitive nature who are averse to real stories of tears, heartache and tragedy – a walk with The Polite Tourist one evening in YORK may NOT be to your taste.
