The Lord Mayor’s Ball

Join the Lord Mayor and Civic Party for their final fundraising event, a grand black tie ball at the Guildhall.

You will be welcomed by the city’s York Guard before enjoying drinks in the courtyard behind the Mansion House. As the horn blows to call us to dinner, you will enjoy a wonderful 3 course meal with wine inside this stunning medieval building dating back to the 1400s.

After dinner, take to the dance floor or relax at your table with friends.

The evening will come to a close at 11.30pm

Dress code is Black Tie, ball gowns or cocktail dresses.

Tickets include a welcome drink and table wine. A full bar is available.

The Charities

This year the Civic Party has chosen York Women’s Counselling Service and The Snappy Trust which are both small, local projects delivering life-changing work. York Women’s Counselling delivers low cost and free counselling to vulnerable women across the city, and The Snappy Trust supports children and young adults with learning disabilities through play, art and holiday clubs. The funds raised through the civic year will be transformational for both the charities we have chosen.
