Join us for the celebratory unveiling of a new artwork to commemorate Dame Emma Raughton, the anchorite of All Saints North Street! The stained glass artwork has been created through a collaboration between Kyra Women's Project, York Learning and All Saints North Street as part of the York Trailblazers project. The launch provides the opportunity to view the artwork and to learn more about Dame Emma Raughton, whose visions of the Virgin Mary, experienced whilst enclosed in a small cell within All Saints North Street, foretold events of national importance.

Refreshments will be available and volunteer guides will be on hand to offer small-group tours of the anchorhold (please note that this is a restricted space accessible only via steep stairs, so may not be suitable for all.)
