Step back in time this festive season and join us for a truly unique Christmas experience at JORVIK Viking Centre. Celebrate the season as the Vikings would, with a snowy evening filled with history, wintery tales, and festive cheer.
Your evening begins with a short introduction to the seasonal celebrations of the Viking Age, revealing how the Norse people marked the winter solstice and their festive traditions. Then, hop on a Time Sleigh ride through the snowy Viking streets—enjoying the sights and sounds of Viking life in the depths of Winter.
Afterwards, settle in for a cosy winter story at the Viking House, where you'll enjoy a warm drink and a delicious Christmas mince pie around the fire.
