Written by Peter Quilter and directed by Martyn Hunter, Glorious! is stage comedy based on the true story of the later life of Florence Foster Jenkins and her close, devoted friends. Considered by many to be "the worst singer in the world" and "the First Lady of the sliding scale", she gave private recitals to fans, including Cole Porter, made bizarre recordings and gave a legendary sold out performance at New York's Carnegie Hall at the age of 76.
