Griffonage Theatre return with a collection of quirky one act comedies written by Irish playwright Lady Augusta Gregory in the decades preceding the Irish Civil War. Set in an odd rural town, Baile Aighneas (The Town of Dispute), this production marks the first time that these plays will be performed together in Great Britain!

-In ‘Spreading the News’, gossip wreaks havoc in a bustling market and rumours take on a life of their own.
-In ‘Coats’, a meeting between two newspaper editors turns fractious after a mix-up of garments.
-In ‘Hyacinth Halvey’, a young man’s reputation precedes him… but can he match up to the expectations of others? 
-In ‘The Bogie Men’, two men meet at a coach stop and realise they are almost indistinguishably similar, but they soon find they have more than enough to argue about.
