About Us
The Star Inn The City, York's most vibrant restaurant, winning an Open Table Diners’ Choice Award in 2022 and were also awarded an AA Rosette award for culinary excellence in 2021. We have also been recognised in the Michelin Guide for the past 2 years and featured in the 2020 edition of The Good Food Guide.
Lunch service runs from 12-3pm and dinner 5-9pm. Breakfast is also available Friday to Sunday 9.30-11am. We also serve up our famous Sunday roasts every Sunday from 12-4pm. The perfect meeting place for all sizes of groups; whether it's for lunch, dinner, breakfast or a catch-up over coffee or a glass of wine! There is space for prams, and we are dog friendly in the terrace and bar area.
Our Main Menu is a mix and match of starters, mains and puddings. We also have a vast wine list, cocktail menu and a great selection of beers.
The terrace overlooks the River Ouse and is the perfect spot for a drink or a bite to eat.
