About Us
My stall contains a wide variety of hand made turned wooden gifts and useful items. I specialise in hand made wooden pens which are beautifully crafted and are made with a selection of contrasting and complimentary woods that go to making each pen a wonderful talking point. One of our best selling pens has a unique bolt action mechanism with a rifle shaped clip and this has proved very popular with customers interested in militaria. The pen can be purchased along with a bullet necklace in a presentation box
Other utilitarian iems include yarn bowls which allow wool to be stored and fed out to avoid tangling. Each bowl is lovingly hand made with a highly waxed polished finish that allows the wool to move over it without snagging. I have sent yarn bowls all over the world.
I also make earring holders which are a boon for keeping sets of earrings in order and make a beautiful addition to any bedside table.
I am happy to make any pieces of turned wood for commissions. I have recently made gavels, large salad bowls, replacement stair spindles, newell posts and even a large sand timer. Please email me for a quote at Oakwood.turners@gmail.com
