This annual festival is an incredible opportunity for Visit York members to showcase their businesses and offer exclusive deals to residents on attractions, dining, shopping, and unique experiences.

Participating in York Residents' Festival allows you to:

      • How to Participate

      • Submit your offers by Friday 3rd January 2025 through your business login on the Visit York website.
      • Navigate: Left menu > ‘Manage offers’ > ‘Create Offer’ and select the ‘York Residents’ Festival’ sub-category (e.g., Attractions, Food & Drink).
      • Ensure only the York Residents’ Festival category is chosen.


      Important Notes:

      • Business listing updates require approval by our digital team.
      • Offers will remain disabled until the festival launch in early 2025.
      • Keep offers focused on Saturday 25th - Sunday 26th January, with the option to extend if desired.
      • Clearly state any pre-booking requirements to avoid confusion.
      • Offer guidance for different sectors:
        • Attractions: Ensure entry is free or as affordable as possible. Contact us for assistance with structuring your offer.
        • Retailers: Provide at least a 10% discount or add extra value to entice residents.
        • Food & Drink: Create enticing offers such as exclusive discounts, complimentary items, or special set menus to attract local visitors.
