DISTILLERY PRODUCTION OPERATIVE at Cooper King Distillery

• £25-28K based on experience

As Distillery Production Operative, you will be an integral part of our small and friendly production team, where you will play a vital role in crafting award-winning, sustainable spirits—proudly sold and served by some of the nation’s top institutions and Michelin-star establishments.
Essentials of the Job
• Producing a range of products to set recipes and standards, including gin, whisky, vodka, liqueur and cocktails.
• Bottling, labelling & assembling products.
• Maintaining accurate production records and carrying out data entry on in-house stock management systems.
• Purchasing, receiving and storing raw materials and performing regular stock takes.
• Adhering to strict food safety, alcohol and health and safety legislation.
• Undertaking routine product quality control and reporting and rectifying quality issues.
• Cleaning, calibrating and maintaining equipment and reporting and rectifying faults.
• Performing quality control tests on raw materials, intermediate products, and final products to ensure that they meet quality specifications.
• Improving systems and processes to increase efficiency & reduce waste.
• Sampling, assessing and monitoring maturing whisky.
