A disillusioned and cynical teaching assistant meets her match in a troubled little Irish Traveller.

Squidge is the debut play of award-winning screenwriter and actress, Tiggy Bayley. An outrageous, dark comedy about the shortfalls of our education system and finding hope and meaning in dark times.

The play follows Daisy, a reluctant teaching assistant, who is assigned a young Irish traveller to help with his reading. Amid phone calls with her grieving mother, a sexy plumber and whale noises, she finds hope in an unlikely friendship.

Running time: 1 hour (no interval)

Suitable for audiences aged 14+
