A York Georgian Festival first… we are taking over the streets of York!
The ‘promenade’ dates back to the 16th Century, however this tradition evolved to a public display of ‘status’ by the 18th Century, as one strolls through beautiful streets and parks. Dress in your finest Georgian attire as we come together to celebrate this tradition and take a leisurely stroll from Clifford’s Tower to York Mansion House this Summer!
