About

This summer, add a splash of creativity to your visit at Barley Hall with FREE drop-in craft sessions in the magnificent surroundings of the Great Hall.

Every Wednesday and Saturday from 19 July to 30 August, families can enjoy a craft activity designed to spark imaginations and bring the medieval world to life.

Make and take home your own:

Heraldic shield – design a coat of arms fit for a knight!
Clay pot – model a mini pot like a medieval artisan.
Stained glass – craft a colourful window inspired by the Middle Ages.

Perfect for children of all ages, these quick and creative activities are a great way to enhance your visit. There's no need to book—just drop in between 12:00 and 14:00 and join the fun.

Included with standard admission.
Led by our wonderful team of volunteers (subject to availability).

Come and make something special to remember your day at Barley Hall!
