The Roots Sunday Feast
Roots is open on Sundays serving a set Sunday Feast Menu between 12.00pm - 4.00pm.
The Spring Sunday Feast | April, May & June | £75pp
Rooted in the flavours of spring, the feast starts with Spilman’s asparagus with wild garlic pesto and aged Killeen, alongside Oldstead charcuterie and smoked trout with buttermilk and fennel pollen.
The main event is roasted sirloin of beef, served with leek and roasted celeriac gratin, roasted carrots with tarragon butter, and grilled hispi cabbage. And it wouldn’t be a Roots Sunday without our twist on the traditional trimmings — crispy roast potatoes, bone marrow gravy and Yorkshire puddings, with the option to fill yours with rich braised ox cheek. To finish, freshly baked lemon verbena tart with crème fraîche ice cream.
As always there’ll be a vegetarian and pescatarian option available. Oh, and there’ll be recommended wines to match perfectly alongside each menu too!
