York Explore - in the city centre just a few minutes from the railway station - is our flagship library and home of the City Archives. Our four meeting rooms combine a unique heritage setting with the latest technology.

City Centre - Hungate

Basic meeting room suitable for groups of up to 8 at our stylish urban cafe.

Tang Hall

Our newest Explore Centre in Tang Hall has purpose built spaces for all your needs, from a spacious conference hall to bright, modern meeting rooms.

Acomb Explore

Acomb Explore is a friendly, bustling library at the heart of the community, with three comfortable rooms available for hire and excellent transport links.

Clifton Explore

Clifton Explore has an IT suite for small groups in a quiet location not far from the city walls.

Catering and Cafes

Using the freshest local produce our Explore Reading Cafes provide anything from a working lunch to a celebratory buffet.
