This summer holidays, visitors can step into DIG’s brand-new interactive exhibition inspired by the spin off series from Cressida Cowell, bestselling author of the How to Train Your Dragon series. Her new spin-off book series, How to Train Your Dragon School follows Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III and his dragons, Toothless and Windwalker, as they join the Viking and Dragon Training School on the Isle of Berk.
Visit York members, (along with your children, recommended age 5 - 12 years) are invited to voyage to the Isle of Berk and into the world of Cressida Cowell’s How to Train Your Dragon School.
The team at York Archaeology are absolutely delighted about this new summer exhibition and don’t want to give too much away because they want you to experience it for yourself but you can expect to see Windwalker upon arrival, The Hopeful Puffin Mark 4, Hiccup’s bedroom tent and a brand new dig pit. The exhibition has a number of interactive elements, guided by characters from the book such as Hiccup, Old Wrinkly, Gobber the Belch and Camicazi and with video content from Cressida Cowell.
