Roots In association with York Theatre Royal
Start 2025 in style with a sparkling one-off event of five short LGBTQ+ stories. Created by actors, musicians and writers, the line-up includes award winning artists trying out new work for the first time. The artists include:
Katie Bonna (she/her) – All The Things I Lied About (Off West End Award)
JJ Cruickshank (he/they) – Scarborough’s (Not) Forever Yone
Frew (he/they) – Composition includes Chariots of Fire and Steel (Sheffield Theatres)
Hook (they/them) – mythical creature and cabaret artist based in York
Tabby Lamb (she/her) – Happy Meal (Fringe First Award)
Max Percy (he/him) – This is Not a Show about Hong Kong (Fringe First Award)
Tickets are only £5, and all sales go towards Roots’ work developing queer artistic talent.
