This February Half term, Eden Camp invites visitors of all ages to embark on a Spy-Themed Adventure that will captivate kids and parents alike! From the 17 to 23 February, visitors can take part in our interactive spy themed activities, to help with the war effort. From craft activities to breaking codes there is something for all budding spies to enjoy!
🕵️‍♀️ Children’s Spy Activities
Spy Trail – Everyday
Prepare for a museum wide code Cracker Trail! With your mission pack, explore the museum in the search for the hidden clues to work out who stole the top-secret tank plans and prevent them getting into the wrong hands! Solve the mystery and earn a reward from the shop!
You will collect your mission pack from the gate box upon arrival.
Spy Craft Workshops:
Invisible Ink Academy – Wednesday 19 February
Learn how to write secret messages using invisible ink and simple ciphers to take home. Perfect for budding agents!
Fingerprint Detectives – Thursday 20 February
In this hands-on activity, children will learn how to collect, analyse, and compare fingerprints just like forensic experts. They’ll discover what makes every fingerprint unique and how investigators use this knowledge to solve mysteries. Perfect for curious minds and budding detectives, this activity is an exciting blend of science and espionage that will have kids sleuthing like pros in no time!
Spy Plane Workshop – Friday 21 February
Join us at Eden Camp’s top-secret Arts & Crafts workshop and design your very own Spy Plane! Using simple materials, craft a peg plane that resembles the covert aircraft of the past, then customize it with your own espionage-inspired designs. Once your creation is dry, it’s ready to soar into a daring mission. Fun for all ages, this hands-on activity combines creativity with a touch of mystery, perfect for budding agents and aviation enthusiasts alike.
