Pedro Lopes Vieira / Esporão Sales Manager

Born and raised in Lisbon, Pedro has always been around wine. His family has operated a small Organic vineyard and winery just for the locals for several decades. Before committing exclusively to the wine trade Pedro played 6 years of professional soccer in Portugal and Toronto. While in Toronto Pedro co-founded and managed FWP Trading - the first exclusive Portuguese wine agency in the province of Ontario. After 7 years in Toronto, Pedro moved back to Portugal. Working for Esporão since 2007, Pedro has been export manager for several European and North American Markets, and for 6 years was based in NYC where he was responsible for the successful growth of Esporão in the US market.
